Shark & Bull Redfish Fishing Charters in Charleston

Sharks and Bull Redfish are the ultimate Lowcountry predators. Charleston is home to a large population of both, and anglers usually do not have to wait long before the rod bends and the drag starts screaming! Whether you are battling a heavy-hitting shark or a trophy-sized Bull Red, these trips are a great way to test your strength and spend an action-packed day on the water. The species you can expect to target on these excursions include Black Tip, Atlantic Sharpnose, Bonnet Head, Scalloped Hammerhead, Bull Sharks, and massive Bull Redfish. These species are known for their power and endurance, making them the perfect targets for anyone looking for a high-energy Charleston fishing experience.

    Catch and Release

    As with most fishing guides, Tight Lines will release sharks and Bull Redfish that are caught for sport so they can return to live in our Lowcountry waters. We handle these fish safely near the boat for the best interest of both the animal and the angler. While there are 3 species of shark that are good to eat and can be kept according to state law, all trophy Bull Redfish are strictly catch and release to ensure our local breeding population continues to thrive.

    What to bring

    All fishing gear will be provided, but be sure to pack sunscreen (no spray sunscreen please), a hat and sunglasses, light colored soft-soled shoes (no black soles), and a camera!

    A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date of a trip. Cancellations must be made 30 days in advance for a refund. Cancellations due to weather will receive a full refund. In the case that you do not show, or last-minute rescheduling, you will be charged in full for the rescheduled date.

    20% gratuity will be automatically added to any trip with 5 or more anglers.

    4% processing fee on all payments made with a credit card. Does not apply to cash payments.

    Gift cards are NOT redeemable during major holidays, due to high demand during those dates.

    Captain Jesse was great. He was easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating when my 5 year old was feeling sea sick. He worked hard to find us other spots where we could fish with calmer waters that still provided a great experience. He knows a lot about the area and fishing in general. We had a great time and highly recommend him!
