Nearshore Fishing Charters in Charleston

Nearshore fishing charters off the Charleston coast are designed for both seasoned anglers and beginners who want big-fish action without the long journey offshore. The abundant waters just beyond Charleston Harbor feature a massive network of shipwrecks, artificial reefs, and natural geological structures. These areas act as magnets for a wide variety of species, offering a prime location for trophy fish and consistent rod-bending action all year long. On a typical nearshore trip, we target favorites like black seabass, triggerfish, cobia, red snapper, and grouper with the help of our experienced guides. These trips are great for those who want to stay within sight of land while still experiencing the power of deep-sea species. Enjoy a straightforward and memorable fishing experience with Tight Lines against the scenic backdrop of the Lowcountry’s coastal beauty and the iconic Morris Island Lighthouse.

We had a blast going on a morning charter with Capt Jesse!!! Beautiful scenery and so much fun catching multiple species of fish, Capt Jesse really cares about having his clients catch quality fish to ensure a memorable experience. He even made sure we went on a day with good weather and that we went at a good time of day. Nicest and most welcoming captain and we loved talking with him. Thanks so much Capt Jesse we will definitely be back! -Aaron & Anna

Captain Jesse was great. He was easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating when my 5 year old was feeling sea sick. He worked hard to find us other spots where we could fish with calmer waters that still provided a great experience. He knows a lot about the area and fishing in general. We had a great time and highly recommend him!
