Coastal Charleston sightseeing Tours

Fishing not your thing? No worries.

Tight Line Charters offers coastal sightseeing tours designed to showcase the natural beauty, history, and wildlife of Charleston’s Lowcountry from the water. We leave the crowded tourist boats behind to cruise through winding tidal creeks, open waterways, and expansive marshlands. Along the way, you’ll explore iconic destinations like Morris Island, Capers Island, and Dewees Island, experiencing Charleston from a perspective most visitors never get to see.

Our sightseeing tours are fully customizable and led by Captain Jesse Riddle, who knows these local waters inside and out. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing sunset cruise, a nature-focused outing to spot dolphins, or a unique way to celebrate a special occasion like a bachelor or bachelorette party, we’ll tailor the experience to fit your group. Families love the calm waters and fossil hunting expeditions, while photographers and nature lovers appreciate the ever-changing scenery and light across the coastal marsh.

We had a blast going on a morning charter with Capt Jesse!!! Beautiful scenery and so much fun catching multiple species of fish, Capt Jesse really cares about having his clients catch quality fish to ensure a memorable experience. He even made sure we went on a day with good weather and that we went at a good time of day. Nicest and most welcoming captain and we loved talking with him. Thanks so much Capt Jesse we will definitely be back! -Aaron & Anna

Captain Jesse was great. He was easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating when my 5 year old was feeling sea sick. He worked hard to find us other spots where we could fish with calmer waters that still provided a great experience. He knows a lot about the area and fishing in general. We had a great time and highly recommend him!
