Hey Y’all! This is Capt. Jesse and I just wanted to welcome you to our newly renovated website  tightlinecharleston.com! I’m stoked to be able to blog the latest fishing trips and trends for the past few weeks now that we are live again!

Tight Line Charters is an all inclusive fishing charter that serves the Hilton Head, Edisto Beach,  Kiawah, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston areas! We pick up from Wappoo cut, Remleys point public boat landing, Shem creek boat landing, Isle of Palms Marina, Charleston City Marina, and the Folly River Boat Ramp! The fish you should expect to catch are redfish in the inshore creeks trout, black drum, sheepshead, trout, stingray, bluefish and an array of other fish. The black drum have been hanging around the structure now along with nice sheepshead for a great fight! We have been catching a few flounder now in the creeks as well and the bull red bite just started in the Charleston harbor with menhaden starting to move in and hopefully the deep hole shrimp will be here soon as well! The sheepshead and weakfish bite at the nearshore reef has been amazing as well with lots of black sea bass in the mix! Trout are starting to be caught after the big freeze we had back in January that put a pretty big dent our the population. Shark fishing and large stingrays should start to kick off here soon to!

We use all live bait ranging from mullet, menhaden, shrimp, mud minnows, blue crab, fiddler crabs and more as well as artificial baits. All our gear is Penn reels and rods from spinning tackle to trolling reels. we have a brand new Sportsman 22′ center console boat with the latest and greatest electronics from SIMRAD and swear by Yamaha motors to get us there and back safely! We also offer Charleston historic tours as well as sunset tours and private harbor tours! So come get hooked with Tight Line Charters for some reel fun in the sun and let us show you how the low country waters should be seen!
